Amaterasu spills creation upon the world, heaven and earth blooming amongst the bleeding ink.

x_x Well... Ehh.. it's not -exactly- sumi-e... But originally I read over the rules and interpreted them as stating that the entry didn't absolutely have to be in that style, but instead inspired by it. So I went with an idea that didn't follow the original art but still hinted at it..

Then I began to wonder, but I was too far along to change my picture. In any case, I'm really hoping I haven't made a mistake. xD;

I would have liked to have been able to spend more time on this so that I could've experimented a little. Most of my drawings are very uh... "Color inside the lines" types of things, so trying to do something more organic was pretty difficult for me. Overall though, I'm happy with how it came out despite all the mistakes and things. :'3.. Now to go hide somewhere dark until the contest is over. ;;TAT;;
